say, you're right... i personally don't have experience with these... how much would a quality one cost? vs, maybe $10 in spray paint to repaint it, so it won't rust?

Even covered under a patio, this won't last. If you need one, make it out of treated wood, they have bracket kits on Amazon too.
You can make a V shape ones with one cinderblock or you can make one like the one posted here with two cinderblocks

I must have lost a cord of wood trying it nevertheless.
You are giving advice like you have real experience with a woodstove. Its plain you do not.
If anyone is considing buything this, dont. Kingso is good for kindling only and thats likely giving it more credit thwt is deserves.
Landmann (with two n) is the best i have found so far.
Keep them up on slabs or blocks and out of the rain regardless of brand.
