I got this today and shame on dell to send some ones returned monitor. Dell does not even hide it, it come from Dell Returns PA warehouse.

I had a similar experience a few years ago. I ordered two new monitors from Dell's website and instead received two refurbished monitors shipped from warranty fulfillment delivered together in a single big brown cardboard box. Was quite a hassle and had to deal with several people. They kept trying to cancel the previous sale-price order and process a new order at full-price. Eventually Dell replaced them with new at the sale price but it took a lot of effort and weeks to resolve.

Well, if you (re)return it, Dell charges return shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic, but no. This is a good monitor for office work and has a pair of speakers which are okay for what they are.
No.. I'm not. Thank you for the reply. It seems hard to find 27" with touch screen.

Had same issue. I had a lot of back and forth with the moderator on Dell forum it appears that they're not refurbished or returned items but they always put that label on it so if you return it, or don't accept it will go to the returns Warehouse

I checked mine and its valid till Expires 09 JUN 2022. I got another monitor last month it is valid for 3 yrs. Not sure whats going on.

The monitor I received yesterday was from Dell returns had the seal broken. But the monitor itself looks great and no finger prints or damages.
Mine was manufactured in April

Ordered this earlier this week when posted. Got it in 2 days brand new. Not planning on gaming with it. It is great for office work and I fired up a movie yesterday and it was great! Don't expect great sound from the built in speakers, but at this price point, I imagine that is to be expected. Very pleased with it and was fortunate enough to have a great experience with Dell - first purchase from them in over a decade.

Don't buy only 60Hz get a 75hz or more
>60hz gets complicated at 4k, comes with a heavy performance tax and requires the latest I/O on both graphics card and the monitor. Therefore it is expensive. Can't justify that for an office-use product.

Not an expert but I don't think you'll find a 27" known-brand touchscreen priced under $400 these days.

Me too, it had the original seal broken, box closed incorrectly and had packaging tape. I have returned mine to Dell. Waiting for them to ship me a new one. I bought one from Microcenter so I know exactly what new looks like.

Can this be combined with AMEX $120 off deal?
I've used the Amex Dell deals before and, even though both Amex and Dell say something along the lines of "cannot combine with other offers," it's worked just fine for me. I actually split a desktop last year on 2 Amex cards and got the statement credit on both no prob.
As long as you make a single transaction for the required amount, you should be fine. You'll typically get a "You've used your Amex offer!" email within like 2 days, even though the credit will take a bit longer to reflect in statement.

The warranty for other monitors are 3 years but for some reason, it's only 1 year for the S3221QS and the S2721QS. Someone else on here mentioned that's it's a red flag and to steer clear. I received the return label for the 32 inch and just picked up this one.

Just checked the my monitors shipping label after reading your post.
Dell S3221QS 32 inch 4K curved monitor from two ago is from Dell Returns but from Houston. Mad

It took 2 weeks to get delivered. Dell told me it was a delay, because it was being built.

Gonna contact Dell about this tomorrow and ask did they send out a return.
My Monitor shipped in the retail box, but the seal was broken.

Then it looks like someone taped it back. I haven't got around to testing it yet.

If its a return and not a new monitor then Dell shouldn't expect a restocking fee. Dell is trying to fraud customers.
Even if it's working fine you're going to send it back?

I have this model. And it's amazing as far as picture quality. But 60hrtz is horrible. But for single player games this is perfect. But I do wish it was 75hrtz at least.
With that knowledge, I'm surprised they market this monitor as a gaming monitor. Oh wait . . .

Just bought 4 of these 3 days ago for $11 more per monitor. Was $279 with the 10% coupon.

Any way to price match since a coupon is involved?

It's not a return, it's actually the name of their shipping warehouse for new products (albeit poorly chosen). You can read about this in previous Dell Monitor threads.

If it works then I will keep it. I had a $30 credit, so the $315 S3221QS came out to $285 before tax. I doubt I could find a better deal.

Someone on a Dell forum suggested the reason why we are getting monitors with broken retail box seals is because they were opened to update the firmware.

Everyone, including myself was confused by the broken retail box seals and the returns department address. As LivelyMusic493 stated, poor choice of a warehouse name.
