I used the Arctic Cove version of this fan yesterday. It's amazing in the hot temps and having a pump that is completely wireless/hoseless is awesome. Plus the Arctic Cove can use Ryobi batteries.

We have the artic cove one and it's identical to the Ryobi one other than the color scheme. I bought ours a few years ago for our son's soccer games and we've used it a lot and it's fantastic in the humid, ultra hot summers we get here. Absolutely worth it at this price!

I paid $20 for this fan. Another junk.

Ryobi has a genius way of making everyday common item into a class of its own, a junk.

It's rotating pivot rarely stay at one position, needs tons of glue to make it stable, not to mention motor is overheating, emitting foul burning smell of electricity, when left on for long time.

This is how I lost $100 for portable vacuum, motor just burnt away, and Ryobi refuse to service its part.

Yes, it uses Ryobi batteries. We've had ours a couple of years and never had any issues with it.

I hope someone out is start building all kinds of different tools that are compatible with ryobi tools cause they got us all on the hook having batteries and chargers but not all the tools we would like to have because they are either overpriced or broke and ryobi didn't meet its customers expectations.
