FYI, the app does not appear to allow for the selection of the free tool. I had to go through a browser to be able to see the free tool choices and pick one. In the app it always added the orbital sander with no apparent option to change it.

Not a very good deal imo. The kit with tiny batteries and 💩💩 charger aren't worth $100 imo. And the free tool options are already $99. So I'd just go for a much better deal when it pops up in future.

These are just pre-made kits that Dewalt sells for their entry level tools. Both are 20v Max (not XR or Atomic) and the only real difference between the OP and yours is the drill is a newer (likely just a bit lighter) model with negligible difference.

These are bad deals, just not for someone who wants a better tool.

Bad deal IMO. Lowes had these 3 tool kits Dewalt (drill, impact, multitool) and 2 2.0 hour batteries the other day for 199 - normal price but ended up buying that and its great but now they magically raised the price on the website to 299

i just used this dcs380 for cutting off my 6 feet wood fences into slices so that i can fit them into truck. It cuts through like butter. After 10 cuts, my 5ah still shows 3 bars. I guess for around home use, it is plenty for most of ppl. I also tried the more expensive m12 fuel hackazall, it struggles a lot with cutting the 2 by 4 of the wood fences.
