I've had an R7350 for a year and it continually randomly drops the 5G connection. The SSID disappears, but often comes back within a minute and reconnects.

When I called Netgear for help, they wanted to charge me $90 for 6 month maintenance plan cause it was more than 90 days old.

I told them I would buy a new router from a different manufacturer with my $90 before I pay them to fix a defective product. Mad

I purchased one from Amazon Warehouse late last week in "very good" condition for $13 that should be here in the next few days. I chose slow shipping for a credit. It will be my first router so if I screw anything up I won't have to worry about doing so with something expensive. Hopefully the router works when it gets here.

Good call, checking warehouse now. I've had a number of routers but I'd like something halfway recent but not very pricy.

Old Model, Older Technology, Least Known Brands with same specs half the price. Also, too many issues with this model! Poor mediatek processor, no one really uses anymore.

Try to get an Wifi 6 model at this point.

I use the Keppa price tracking extension which works better for me with most tracking as opposed to CCC. Since I do that I was able to catch one of these when they were listed by AW.

It is very old router. I bought it on Amazon Day (July 10, 2017) for my son. It was just $55 + tax. He already replaced it. It should be priced it least less than 2017 year price.

I think V1 and V3 come with Broadcom chip, V2 comes with MediaTek chip.
