Not as good as last Father's Day so far but I grabbed the Hopper Flip 12. The 20% is on top of some of the already lowered prices.

Completely asinine that these imported and overpriced bro-trophies are preferred to similarly performing and often more economical offerings with better warranties from Made In USA peers like Orca (not Rtic), Kong, Pelican and Igloo's top of the line rotomolded products.

To add further insult, this company demands premium prices for low wage overseas labor in low/non democratic, borderline Pro-China countries with questionable human rights and labor rights practices.

Come on people. MADE IN AMERICA. Put your money into US manufacturing. These are your countrymen and women earning a good wage making high quality products and paying taxes. Put the trendy sticker on your truck if you need that particular tribal, low depth, peer acceptance.

Full disclosure: I served and am privileged to shop at the Exchange. I am not a liberal, a xenophobe, pro union, anti union, a republican or a democrat. I'm just proud to live here and fully support the people of this country whenever I am able and think you should too.

Understood. It would help if that was an accurate list, but last I checked, neither RTIC or Engle are made in the US.

My Engel is quite old. Perhaps they've jumped on the offshore bandwagon too. Shame. I stand corrected on RTIC. I meant ORCA. I've edited my post. Thank you for correcting me.

ORCA: Designed in Nashville, sourced in China, and still $200 for the soft cooler so your argument is invalid. Got it you don't like yeti, nobody cares

Invalid, eh? You speak for everyone too? The hubris...

I don't consider insulated purses coolers.

Midway down this link:

So, spending more on an imported plastic box with an inferior warranty instead of buying an equivalent product with a superior warranty product made by American family's who pay taxes... I'm the only one that cares? I apologize if my remark hit a sensitive spot about the trendy sticker but you are wrong.

If you don't like the news, change your world or stop reading the paper. Don't shoot the messenger.

We are done here.

I appreciate the sentiment.

They do well in tests and certainly seem to have a passionate following. Perhaps if they cost less than equivalent US made coolers they would jive with my personal micro-ethicnomics and I could see some logic, overlook the warranty and consider Yeti as a less expensive substitute.

Unfortunately they cost as much or more and, for me at least, paying that much for any Asian cooler feels foolish and sort of like a betrayal.

To each there own. The bro-mafia is flaming me and I have other things to worry about.

Why spend over $200 when you can get an Ozark with wheels for $150?

Certainly self aware but little else...

People working their butts off to keep us in front of international competitors in Palmdale California, Marrietta Georgia, Marysville Ohio, Newport News, etc will celebrate your ignorance with memes. Congratulations.
When US can generate more money and jobs by distancing itself from low-wage, plastic crap manufacturing, you are doing disservice to the American people by supporting/prolonging meritless 'Made in America' label.

Let China make all the plastic crap. And allow US to build another Apple, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc.

If you are truly patriotic, support US to grow. Not some dying industry that hinders growth of the US economy.
