Stay away from LG products. They are horrible with their warranties. In particular, my sister has and LG fridge and it has had several issues ever since she's owned it.
I agree 1000%. I and a couple of friends have pushed our 2000 plus dollar stainless steel 29 cubic foot LG refrigerators out to the sidewalk after 6 or 7 years. This was following multiple compressor replacements. LG's service and their refrigeration products are total garbage. In my case, there was an eventual refrigerant leak in the copper tubing somewhere in the cabinet which they would not repair or even attempt to locate. I did not care at that point because their replacement compressors were only lasting one year and I was throwing away one or two hundred dollars worth of food on top of the $500 warranty service fee each time. The two technicians that came out to replace my compressor on separate occasions told me that their full-time job, 8 to 10 hours a day, every day was replacing the linear compressor on LG refrigerators and the brands for which LG manufacturers refrigerators (i.e. Kenmore). Don't get me started on the other problems we had with just the ice and water dispenser on the door. I know others have had similar problems with compressors and copper tubing on Samsung refrigerators. It seems these Korean brands focus more on appearance and features than on the core components. They have become known for using thinner copper tubing and lower grade components then their competitors. Do yourself a favor and avoid their refrigerators and any that are rebranded.

Several repairmen recommended Whirlpool refrigerators and in general to avoid models with door mounted dispensers due eventual leaks/drips and an inability to keep up with the ice demands of a medium or large household. After doing some research, we went with those recommendations and cannot be happier. We are swimming in ice cubes and love that we no longer have rust stains on the door.

Would you be able to share which brand / model you went with? Thx in advance.

Sure. I went with WRF535SWHZ02. It was their largest stainless steel french door model available at the time that did not have dispensers on the door. I just checked, and that has not changed. At a little over 25cuft, the decrease in space compared to our LG was noticeable, but not having ice and water on the door provided additional shelving on one door that helped make up for it. The interior is about as wide as the LG, just not as deep from front to back. That's where you lose a couple cubic feet. It took a little getting used to having a water dispenser on the inside. They have a model without it but we like having access to cold filtered water.

Paid $1200 at AJM in 2019 and opted to go with the 5yr extended warranty for another $175. This model is now retailing for $1800-$2000. Prices on all appliances, particularly stainless steel models, have gone up due to increased demand and long lead times on raw materials due to COVID related shutdowns at factories. This is not a good year to buy appliances, but if your fridge is shot, that is not one that can wait. Good luck.

LG makes good solar panels and EV batteries. I don't believe Samsung makes anything decent. It's all wasteful POS I've lost thousands on.

Any thoughts on the massage chair and if it is a good deal? From what I could find it looks like it could be one of the lowest prices for it.

NOthing... the wifi capability on the LG is useless. Just tells you the fridge is running and you can adjust fridge temp. It's a gimmick. Otherwise, the fridge is excellent.
do you own this personally? any issues? i can see some fridge with a monitor that play youtube but wifi to control temp is stupid

My LG frige is lsxc22396d, very similar to this, just black colour. The ice maker keeps breaking down. Long story short... I suggest you not to buy this.

I was hastily reading through the deal info for this fridge and was like

"Dam, this fridge has a AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8-Core) Processor and 16 gigs of ram". 😂

We got this one last thanksgiving however it was delivered in March 21. We like it so far. The price back then at home depot with the deal was $1799, I believe it's still pretty good deal

How do we get Costco to price match themselves? I see the refrigerator I just bought for $200 less, hasn't been delivered yet but this one now is cheaper but out of stock
