Amazon page says plays "Atmos", Roku say surround sound which is a minimum of 5.1. According to Roku chat is DD 2.0 stereo only. Worst part is has settings for DD+5.1 & DTS and tried to get working which was a complete waste of time.
Guess that makes my decision easy to just get a GoogleChromecast with Android TV or whatever its called haha.

It really sucks I had to get rid of my 9 year old Denon because it didn't support dd+ and a lot of the newer apps do that natively and there is no conversion you either decode dd+ or not. That is where DTS can help, it's less restrictive than Dolby codecs.

Is Roku the best streamer out there? Or am I better off sticking with Fire since I have Amazon prime? I do basic stuff, Netflix and mostly sports apps. Don't need YouTubeTV
