It's odd that HEB is not in the list of approved grocery retailers.

Remove the extraneous face (frowning?) from the end of the link and then the link works. In other words:

Choose the second (2nd) category on the left, sixth (6th) question from the top.
Thanks for noticing that. I must have clicked one time two many. I have corrected it in my original post.

Regardless of cash (VISA, AMEX, Discover, etc).. HEB has always coded as "Grocery" for me despite not being on their official lists.

So would grocery deliveries from Amazon qualify? How about Instacart or doordash? Someone care to explain simply what the flex card is, why you got it? We just have two freedom cards, I guess

I certainly assumed also that there's no way Chase would allow stacking of the 5% quarterly bonus and the early Flex 5% grocery bonus. But in fact you can stack the two (almost). This scenario is different from a vendor being qualified under two categories as in your example. These are two separate programs which Chase has explicitly said will result in a 9% bonus (source: https://creditcards.chase.com/fre...ds/flexfaq

Yes, as long as you are activated for the quarter, you will earn both offers simultaneously until you reach the spend cap for each offer ($1,500 quarterly spend cap applies to combined purchases for both quarterly bonus categories: Grocery Stores and Select Streaming Services); however, please note, since both your new cardmember bonus and quarterly bonus are earned as 4% bonus cash back on top of the 1% cash back earned on every purchase, the most you will earn per $1 in grocery store purchases in Q3 is 9% cash back: 1% earn on every purchase, plus 4% for the quarterly bonus, plus 4% for the new cardmember bonus. Your 1% and 4% bonus earns will display as separate lines on your billing statement.
Has anyone confirmed these bonuses are currently stacking for Grocery, to equal at least 9%?

Yes. An example transaction shows as

+ Addl 4%/$1 at grocery stores in first yr 553
+ Bonus from 3Q 5% cat: Grocery Stores 553
+ 1% (1 Pts)/$1 on all purchases 138

Total Ultimate RewardsĀ® points 1,244
