SPEC:
Regarding the display quality, you know the situation at this price range, especially for Ryzen laptops. Even premium Laptops like HP Envy 15, come with a 250-nits 45% NTSC display by default and only HP site allows you to update it to a better panel by paying $100. Dell has completely stopped offering any better panel with Ryzen. Same case for Lenovo.

1) Would 2x2 wifi 6 be a benefit for me?
2) I was thinking I might daisy chain a better router but no experience with doing so.
Thanks and repped in advance!

Anyway, for you, I will recommend to get a dual band 5 GHz router and they're pretty cheap, you can grab one within $20 bucks if you look for deals.

2- As for upgrading your router it depends on what router you have now, what internet speed you are paying for, what equipment you are currently using, and if you are currently satisfied with the speed and connectivity. Don't throw money into it right now if you don't require it.
As for the laptop in this deal, it's not a bad but I was just pointing out that the manufacturer cut a few corners, and for those concerned about buying something future proof for the next few years where fastest internet speed and strong connectivity is very important, then this is not the laptop you should consider.

Sadly, our cable provider (Cincinnati Bell) does not have a newer or better router/cable box combo. We no longer have an option to provide our own sep router for their internet.
With so many channels beginning to stream their own shows with subscription service, leaving cable doesn't do much good. Still have to pay for internet from someone and more and more subscriptions as time goes by which makes cost about the same or more as getting both services bundled. We already use Netflix and have Prime, and the latest $2.19 per month Hulu deal in effect. /rant
