Prices are not that great compared to a regular sale. They seem to have increased the base prices to justify the discount.

When entering your travel info, there's a box labelled "Promo Code." It is pretty noticeable. Good luck.

In the promo code field, before you begin searching for flights.

at southwest.com (the page) there's the box to start your flight search, in that box is the place to enter your promo code. For me though, the prices after promo code were slightly higher than no promo code, so do with that what you will...

Yep, same $49 price... except for the Anytime and BS fares which are not normally on sale.

If for some reason you needed refundable, I guess it is a deal.

I noticed that the "not great" flights were the ones actually discounted-discounted.
MCO to STL at 930pm at night (last flight out) was $53 in the middle of the week (10/12).

STL to SAT seemed decent, but not a huge discount off what I normally would've spent.

If you can plan that far ahead and don't mind the early bird or late night flights, I think you can travel for an absolute steal. If you want to be functional and travel at a regular hour, I think your discount at best is going to be like $10.

I hate when they don't just show you which routes it applies to. I haven't found one from Dtw yet.

The power of marketing gimmick to get the suckers in.

How is it a gimmick for suckers if you acknowledge that prices are comparable to a regular sale? Seems like...a regular sale. And not solely for suckers, no? Hmm
