Prices are not that great compared to a regular sale. They seem to have increased the base prices to justify the discount.

It saved me about 80 bucks roundtrip. It isn't half off but it's still a good deal for me. Turned a 300 dollar flight to 220.

Doesn't really change the prices all that much. They just overly inflated the base price to make this seem like a sale.

Does anyone know if these are still fully refundable? I would be paying with points that I have been holding for quite a while. My wife is still nervous to travel and I want to be able to cancel if needed.

It is showing half off points for me. Roundtrip from CMH to SLC for 16k points per person is better than some other sales I have seen.

any good deals out of BOS, RSW or TPA? I saw decent BOS to PUJ for 330 in September but even with coupon it is not a lot cheaper vs other air lines regular fares.

Buddy who works at SW told me to wake up at 4am to book since this is their biggest sale EVER. What a bunch of crock. Spend two hours planning with the wife of where we would go, what dates, etc. Woke up at 4am, just to realize this deal is bogus. The date range is the worst part. Not a single major holiday falls in there. SW is basically trying to fill flights that are not popular to begin with. For a 50th anniversary, they could have done $50 one way tickets with booking up to a year to really make this a sale.

I like Southwest and it's the only airline I use, but this is about as fake a sale as I can recall from any company. Flight prices have been inflated to make it look like a deal with the promo. In the end, you are saving almost nothing or in some cases actually paying more.
