This is one of the ugliest light fixtures I've ever seen. It's like they took random pieces out of the parts bin and glued them together without any purpose or design sensibility. Good lord, what were they thinking? 😝

You just don't like Farm House antique style. I am curious to your style though....Snap a pic of what you like.

Erm...I'm not debating whether it is or is not an aesthetically pleasing fixture, but the creator clearly had design sensibility. It has agreeable symmetry, fits current style trends, and not much is wasted. Hate it all you want, but at least either stick to subjective reasons (taste) or accurate objective ones (e.g., the fact that this will only adhere to its own aesthetic if using piteously dim bulbs).

The the latter is my only real issue with it. Edison bulbs look cool and all, but they are useless in terms of actual light, unless you have dozens hanging on a string in an area where being able to readily discern things is not necessarily.

I don't really understand hate for Edison bulbs. It's just a style, and a perfectly fitting one for a fixture design like this. Why not get better Edison bulbs? They're not all useless and dim. Pretty big selection of 800+ lumen ones at both the blue and orange home improvement stores.

Clearly you've never been in a farmhouse...or seen an antique. Did you just pick a couple of random words out of the air to describe this fixture's "style"? Trust me, "farmhouse antique" it is not. 🤣

You don't have to use Edison bulbs.

This is true, and they are also very very much on the warm side of the spectrum. Almost orange, the ones we purchased.

That said, you can pop in any Edison style LED at any color point you want.
Yes those are 'sexy-time' bulbs only.

I have ceiling titties all over my house and the titties block like 60% of the light. Not my choice, but it is what it is. Been wanting to replace them for a while. I am patient for a good light fixture. This one looks okay, but I don't think it is a good replacement unfortunately. Price seems okay.

I know, but it doesn't quite look right with 4000k frosted. ;-)

+1.

Light fixtures with exposed bulbs need to go away with the sliding interior "barn" doors.
Sadly I agree and I own an interior barn door. I feel compelled to keep it tho cuz it cost too much and wife likes it 😌
