Buyer beware: Just like the previous version, you need to be ONLINE to play the OFFLINE career mode. If you're wanting to play this on a plane or somewhere where you don't have connectivity....you're screwed.

I almost bought this for my plane trips this weekend...but that part kills the deal for me.

Is it even playable? I purchased the 2020 for $3 and kinda regret it 😂. The response time between the controller and the game was horrible on Switch. A very fun game on other console but not on Switch unless they've improved the game on this version.

Same for 2k21 PGA golf. Was all excited to play it on a plane trip and had the same issue.....had to be online to play offline. Grrrrrrr.....

No it isn't playable, I tried the demo and struggled to make basic jump shots in practice mode because of the input delay.

The Apple Arcade version is pretty decent if you have an iPhone, and it works offline too. Not as feature rich as the switch version but pretty convenient if you have a controller like Razer Kishi or Backbone.

I got it free on PC and have already deleted it, the game freezes all the dang time and just isn't very good.
And good luck trying to shoot threes or jump shots because it's pretty much impossible to have an average shooting ability. The game is terrible.

Yes, the only thing that works for me is to keep retrying the download and it'll eventually work if you keep trying
