Another quirk is the 5G home internet Gateway I recently got. It seems to be non SA 5G, further evidenced by the primary signal always being set at 4G no matter how you twerk the online settings (other than shutting of 4G altogether, which shuts down communication in the end). And keep in mind I never get better than 'Good" signal on the app (There are higher VG and Excellent ratings). . .but when I am at "Good" it pulls from B2 4G or B66 4G. . .and Gives me 50-100Mbps hardwired. . .and when I twist the gateway slightly to where it gives me "Weak" signal. . .it seems to pull off the N71 5G tower and my speeds jump up to 100-200mbps hardwired. For reference, my 4G towers are just under a mile away due east, and the n71 5G tower is roughly 2 miles away and to the NE, so it's not that hard to try and exclude one or the other. . .

Traded a fully paid S9, $800 credit given. Just paid tax.
On highest plan whatever that's called. Basically billed every month for the phone and given a credit for the same amount monthly from my S9 (I've never understood cell phone billing).
It's basically an easy new phone swap if you meet the requirements. Thanks to those posting.
Any idea or anyone tried with Simple Choice plan ??
This deal may finally make me bump from my Note 8, especially since the case is starting to split due to battery swell. I've been waiting for a Note 20 deal with high trade-in price and no extra line. This deals ticks all the boxes. Hope this works!

Wondering if I should try it 🧐

No headphone jack, but USB-C to 3.5mm adapters can at least be had for pretty cheap (of varying quality).
You're definitely correct to worry about the residual value of your Note 8. Your phone isn't broken but if you're looking to maximize its residual value you should definitely be looking to jump ASAP.
Good luck!

I think I am also on One plan not One Plus plan. It is giving me S21 for $799 plus $500 trade in for Note8, but if $500 is monthly credit for 24 months right?

There is one other option which is the Note 20. However, that only comes in a 128 GB model and is probably only recommendable if you want to both economize your out of pocket costs after the monthly credits and you place a high value on the stylus.
Good luck!

The deal is live. I managed to have the live chat order the S21 Ultra on my One Plus promo account and double check the payments and credits. My rep was able to give $800 off my Pixel 3. This was given to me via chat:
For a limited time in all markets, get a Samsung Galaxy S21 5G on us (max credit $800), or up to $800 off Galaxy S21 Plus 5G, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Note 20 5G, Note 20 Ultra 5G, Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G, or Galaxy Z Flip 5G on us (via one-time trade-in credit and monthly Recurring Device Credits (RDC)) when you purchase it on Equipment installment plan with an eligible rate plan and trade in a qualifying phone. This offer will appear on the customer's bill as "2021 Samsung Trade P11".
YMMV depending on the rep and your configuration
