I think I ordered too many phones from them because now every time I try to order it says my payment method was declined. IIRC this is their way of saying you ordered too much already. Tried several cards, new cards etc and my bank is definitely not declining the purchase. This has been going on for weeks.

That seems odd. I've purchase both reconditioned, and new phones from Total Wireless before and the recondition ones were always boldly labeled **RECONDITIONED** in the description.

Are you sure?

I ordered yesterday at 7am ET and got the shipping label created notification from FedEx delivery manager last night. They shipped mine out of Ingram micro this morning at 8am.
Dang Ingram micro. Every phone I've ordered from total wireless that came from Ingram micro has been reconditioned, refurbished, re something. Still hoping for new.

Yes let's see what we really get, the $250 pricing is normally for reconditioned ones, and Ingram micro is a refurbish phone vendor. They can make a crazy deal at $250 for new ones which priced at $350 for all other colors right now. That extra $50 discount on top of $250 does seem suspicious. Why they don't simply mark it down from $350 to $200 directly. Also the 25% email coupon never worked on new phones but it works on this one.

Sigh. I kinda figured. Too good to be true. Why not just say it was reconditioned because $199 still isn't a bad price for that but many wouldn't have bought it if they knew it was reconditioned. We shall see. Still holding out for new.

I've gotten plenty of new phones shipped from them. I ordered a new black iphone xr and paid with rewards points by the way. Sorry I forgot to mention that fact earlier.

Don't buy any phone from them, especially reconditioned ones. Received one with ghost touch issue and I returned it paying for the shipping fee and I didn't get full refund. What a crap site!

Good to know. Can points earned from referral be used for new phone purchase?

Never buy pre-owned from totalwireless/simplemobile/tracfone. Most likely the lcd has been replaced.

Just chatted, was told if there is no wording "reconditioned", then it is brand new.

They told me it's a new listing so they are still working on the website to get updated but better to check with one who has received it already

Yes, you can even use multiple reward codes as long as they are different denominations. You can't pay for plan purchases so that's why I chose the new black iphone xr for $350. No tax, just a free phone for 26000 points. I could have gotten 2 of the iPhone SE for free but I'd have to pay for the plans with real money and I wanted to stay at $0 to TracFone for the year.

ah cool, I though the points from referral can only be used on plan purchase instead, looks like it is the other way around.

You can buy plans but you just can't buy them with the phone promo codes.
