Jesus... some SDers are some choosy beggars. Amex rotates/mixes the coupons/promos, like every company does.

The $100 on $500 lasted for 3 months and only ended 2 months ago. The targeted $150 on $1000 is active until July. There's that $120 on $599 targeted offer as well. And now they are have another 10% offer that lasts until december that gives up to $1500 back... people buying a high end gaming PC/laptop are assured to get more money back than the two previous coupons.

It blows my mind that people are actually complaining about the offers AMEX is handing out for Dell, you know a place that is offering something better?
I found "spend $599, get $120" for my Platinum card

Anyway to get Dell latitude series cheap? Even with all these amex offer latitude still a few hundred more than comparable lenovo.
As a long time Dell reseller, I have to agree that their Latitude laptops are overpriced.

Your best bet is looking at the Dell Outlet when they have coupons that apply to your model of Latitude to save even more.

But overall, I have a hard time justifying the cost of a brand new Latitude. They're great laptops, but not THAT great! Smilie

LOL! I have the opposite experience! I could care less about the smart card reader, but choices with the specs I need invariably have the un-needed smart card reader!

They have the 10% Dell deal every year for biz cards. The $ off ones usually go to personal cards, though I have gotten lucky and was able to stack once.
Yep, I was just able to stack 10% and $150 off $1000 offers on a Biz Platinum card, which also gets the $100 credit semi-annually. Stacked all those with 10% back from you-know-where plus a 15% off coupon that I received by mail.

I agree, even a midrange Latitude seems to start around $1500. Even on a normal "sale" (the kind they have every day) Lenovo's top-end ThinkPads go for less than that.

I'm trying to order an Alienware but the ship date is pushed past the end date of one of my Amex offers. Any idea if there's a way to get dell to charge early or something so I don't miss out on the offer?

Dell seems to charge immediately regardless of ship date.

Does anyone know if this truly excludes Member Purchase Program transactions? I know it's listed as an exclusion, but wondering if anyone has any personal experience.
Thanks

Thanks. Helpful to know even though it may not generalize. I think I'm going to pull the trigger.

Not accurate. When you place order they do a temporary charge on your credit card which will then disappear. Actual charge will happen when product ships.

I had AMEX offer for 10% credit & $100 off $1000. It might be able to double dip for the credit.

Question is May I know any confirmed data point those amex DELL Offer really require to shop through link ex: dell.com/amex or dell.com/en-us/work/shop/deals in detail terms?

or I can just go to buy from anywhere in DELL (I knew outlet is not ok) dell.com to pick items which also can be triggered AMEX offer

Since it looks like some same items are cheaper listing price than above AMEX link.. thx
