i want to buy this one for our house, but i'm always worried about our power keeps tripping because of these portable ACs. I have two portable ACs that's just sitting and I couldn't use it from the issues I stated.

Yes. Hard to believe not everyone is fortunate enough to have central air or install mini splits all over their homes.

This isn't a portable AC unit. Maybe you have an electrical problem then.

You need an electrician to look at your wiring. You probably need higher gauge wiring and a higher amperage breaker for wherever you're plugging them in. That said, these inverter units should use less power than traditional ones.

Imagine gate-keeping wanting cool air. I have central A/C but my house is old and the 2nd floor gets super hot during the summer. I can't just keep turning the temp down cause the main floor will be wayyy too cold. The solution is to have a small window A/C unit upstairs...

HVAC systems are such a racket. I don't know why they just don't have modular systems that can be swapped in and out... like a whole house "window unit." I was just quoted $1450 for changing thermal expansion valve. Really hoping the MR COOL units catch on and bring the prices down.

If you ask me, just use these things and count your lucky stars you can avoid the HVAC repair scams.

My sister-in-law's bf went crazy and installed 5 mini-splits throughout their 3 bedroom house. (maybe it was only 4 units). They have central AC btw in their 1500sqft home LMAO

They also wear extra layers in the winter time instead of firing up the heater, we're in Southern California

Do you have any airflow dampers you can adjust? They look like levers on the outside of the duct? I have to change one for winter vs summer.
