Do yourself a favor and get some safety bars if you get this I see people mentioning this being ok for new lifters but they usually need the safety bars more than the vets that know are limits with that said I still always set my safety bars when I bench after 20 years of lifting because shit happens and I don't want to crush my face because I pulled or tore something

CAP safety catches are about $40. There is another rack for $170 with a few more bells and whistles.

I can't decide which one to get.
I'd go with the $170 one too. It comes with the additional bottom bars for the rubber straps which is nice

Excellent advice. For every other lift fail there is an out. For bench, bar is going on your neck.

I've been looking for one of these to go with my small squat rack. Now I just need a good rower and my home gym is set.

Not designed for it, but seems like it'd be fine as it's good enough for pull-ups

I built this with wood 2 years ago for 50 bucks, and it stores easily... does this easy break down for storage and not an eyesore in an limited space?

Thanks. For apartment faraway from playground, it seems to be a good way to diy a swing/monkey bar indoors using this frame.
