Yes, this works on the 2021 M1 model, albeit little tight when closed so may not work with a screen protector on the 2021 model.

Thanks! Just bought it along with 2021 iPad Pro. According to all the reviews it should fit just fine. BTW, most latest ipad Pro models are also available in 'open box condition for additional savings.

If only apps and mobile versions of websites offered everything that a desktop experience could do, this could come close to replacing that experience.

Example:

It's crazy how you cannot reorder playlists (not songs) on Spotify without a desktop. Period. No work around, no "desktop version request" on their site. You physically need a desktop OS.

So many major services and sites just require a physical desktop OS to use them to their fullest. Not Apple's fault, but just a huge blocker to this being way more powerful.

just bought a used one for $200 for my 3rd gen 2018 off of facebook- was using the logitech slim no trackpad with the function keys, but i will say this is a better keyboard, i like the angles better and the keyboard itself, the keys seem larger giving the typing experience a better feel… the trackpad is great..takes some getting use to but there are many videos to show the tricks…
at this price get the warranty for 3 years!

That's a fair point, but it cuts both ways. There are so many amazing apps that just don't have a desktop analogue, not even inferior version, just no analogue, period.

For me, it's a complete solution. I still use a MacBook Pro (2017 and awful slow) to power an external monitor, but the iPad doubles as a wireless display @ 120hz.

A review I read talked about how the keyboard encourages the use of the tablet and it absolutely does.

I agree with your last statement 100%. I use my Pro significantly more than I did before I got the keyboard in March. Worth every bit of the high (but now reduced) cost.
