I mostly use mine for consuming content bought on Amazon. Prime Video, Audible and a ton of paid apps that were free back in the long gone era of the Free App per Day for their app store. Kindle books with lots of graphics work better than on my Paperwhite.

You used to instantly get the 25% and TIV of your item instantly now they wait until you item is received and appraised. The 25% discount will then only apply to the specific item you clicked the trade in button on. AKA by the time you get it the sale is over and you get your TIV + 25% off the full priced item you wanted to buy.
I bought last years version on this for $100 in July and still use all the time for netflix and youtube. I'd be all over this newer version with more ram if you're in the market for a cheap tablet. Very easy to get all the Amazon bloat off these as well.
for only $120 more if you can get a Tab S7, to me this is a NO BRAINER.
But I would still the the fire tablet for my 8yr old who has cracked every tablet she has ever owned... including the Fire HD10 2019.

But this is a decent tablet... not like the old ones.
BUT IF YOU DO BUY... YOU MUST USE XDA AMAZON TOOL BOX.
To answer your question... useable, but not great. Check out the videos on youtube.
Most people will not do the XDA Amazon Tool Box thing.
This tablet really keeps you in Amazon's eco system... and that is where you spend the money.

The Fire Tab screen is just about as good as most LOW BUDGET TABLETS.
