I mostly use mine for consuming content bought on Amazon. Prime Video, Audible and a ton of paid apps that were free back in the long gone era of the Free App per Day for their app store. Kindle books with lots of graphics work better than on my Paperwhite.

Basically, the HD 10 Plus is $30 more money than the HD 10. For that $30 you get three things:
A. 1 more GB of ram
B. slate back
C. wireless charging
For a tablet that is only $80 its hard to pay almost 40% more for those three things. Perhaps if the HD 10 Plus had a better processor it might be worth the price difference. But since the processor is the same, I don't think the HD 10 Plus is worth the extra money.

the reality is that apple is using same model of business that does not work long term. initially apple had majority of PC market shares and today they are an insignificant player. at the start of smartphone apple had the majority market share and today Android has about 80% domination.
i view apple as tesla, unless i can buy the parts from Autozone you will not see me owning a tesla. ironically, i do own apple and tesla stocks . . . and they have payed of quite nicely (thanks to the fans). the deference however that today tesla is a monopoly in a way and it is on it's way up, and apple on the other hand is on it's way down.
