The terms & conditions state that Apple can still charge you the amount of the applied student discount after purchase if they determine your purchase was not for a student.

No idea. Got one last year without issues. Didn't even know about that term, haha. As long as you don't abuse it, it likely won't trigger an audit. They have better things to do Smilie

No you aren't wrong to think that. The model you're referring to will be called "(Wi-Fi + Cellular)" but it doesn't seem the OP was in reference to that model.

The cellular model is available on Amazon and it is $1,399 which is its regular price.

EDIT: I see you mean that at $1099 we should be getting cellular capabilities too. This is Apple, you pay more for things sometimes.
