This is a clearance item at a Lowe's I was in today in the Dallas Metroplex. Brand new and still sealed. Lowe's.com shows it at $369 for Father's Day, but I picked mine up in clearance for almost another $100 off. It's a great saw and replaces my dewalt miter saw which was not a slider and didn't have the laser.

I'll go with 8 1/4" sliding before I go with 12" compounding. If you are a pro contractor, you know 12" compound is big waste of money.

Did you look up your store to see the price on the website or Brickseek?
I used Brickseek. It showed the two Lowe's closest to me as having it in stock, but at $449. It was right on for both stores. It also showed the third closest Lowe's as having it in stock, but also at 449, so I didn't stop. I drove to the fourth closest store that Brickseek showed to have three in stock at $269.37. One was on the floor in the Tools section with a clearance shelf tag at that price.

I'm not sure whether the Lowe's inventory that Brickseek uses counts the display unit as one of the items, so you may want to watch for that. I guess you could try a test order for in-store pickup on the Lowe's web site to see if it'll let you place the order.

Interesting thing is that the Lowe's web site shows a sales price of $369 (until 6/21/2021).

Won't work on clearance.
This. I bought some coupons while I was in the store and they didn't work. Got it for $269 in SE PA, but now having second thoughts. It's huge. I might be better off with something smaller.

FWIW they had the display for sale at the same price, but an employee called dibs on it. Then they found another one NIB and I bought that.

Picked up one at W. Plano location in Dallas-Ft Worth area. They have 2 left.

Used a bunch of Lowe's GCs that I picked up at 10% discount, so turned out to be a killer deal.

Was waiting on a Miter Saw deal. Thanks OP!
I just picked up one, at the same location. Now there is one left in box, plus the display. I tried to get it in my car, and made marks in the interior, until taking it out the the box. There was a lot of box, so iI think it would fit in almost any car, ex-box.

got one at Pearland Tx store, seems the last one though brickseek says there are more.

Squeezed the box into my Sonata back seat, barely.

Anyway, this is a great deal - similar yellow dewalt runs $500+,

Get a stand and you won't even think about the size. Wink

I picked up the Ridgid stand for $70 from DTO in December, which doesn't add much to the total cost of the setup.

I just paid $200. It was marked $269 and I asked if it was discontinued. Guy said best he could do was $200! Sold sold sold. Couldn't believe it. I bought a unicorn. I almost didn't roll the dice on this. It was 60 min from home. Well worth it.
The Lowes employee just volunteered to give you a $69 discount? Was he high at the time?

My store had the remaining stock hidden in storage on an adjacent aisle. Don't forget to look around if you don't see any on/near the floor!

They didn't have a clue. There were 3 of them...one was a manager that had to sign off. I think they were under the impression I was asking for a discount lol.

I picked up the last one at the Murphy, TX, Lowes. Thanks OP! I also got the Delta stand for it. The first post that went to Brickseek pulled up a different model than the OP posted… that one wasn't a slide miter saw. Here is the link I used for the correct model number.

Great price for a very entry level saw. There is a lot of play in the miter locks and deflection in the sliding rails.. If your looking for a general purpose saw this will do, but for precision work, I highly recommend passing on this particular saw

It was this one: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/fp/609491

It's been on sale at Home Depot for $99 several times as well.

Interestingly, the vast majority of professional reviews say the opposite. They recommend it for woodworking, but advise you look elsewhere for construction.

I wouldn't consider this anywhere near entry level either. It's not as good as the flagship models from Dewalt or Makita, but at this price it also costs less than half of either of those and probably offers 85% of the performance. Heck, even on sale neither of those has been anywhere near this price point.
