i have had 1 for 2 years and still cant find a use ... tried to use it in home, but it needs a speaker and a constant connection to a phone ...

I've also not been able to use it since launch. It's there any way to use it without a phone?

I've had one since the launch. It's ok, but just as easy to talk to the Alexa app on your BT connected phone with one less cable.

There is no way to use it without a phone since it requires the internet connection supplied by your phone

Best use for this is coupled with a Bluetooth speaker that has a USB out.

Will let you/whomever use Alexa out in the lake, at a tailgate, by the pool, etc.

It's almost useless in your vehicle.

Make sure you can figure out a use for this before buying. In my case, I use it to arm and disarm my ring alarm system when pulling up or away from the house.
