I don't have this model, but every X Shot gun I've owned has outperformed nerf by a long shot, and beaten them in price. My kids always go for the X Shot over nerf. I highly recommend this brand. Their water guns are great, too.

Agreed. My three kids will take X-Shot every day over Nerf at this point. Just a far better toy.
