Separately, thinking of a pair of R263, pair of RS152, and one R12, and center to come later. Would these be good/great for movies? Will be using for movies more than music.

I would point out the RS is not ideal for object based soundtracks, just because of their design.
Upon saying that this is all subjective and there are people that do use them in those setups and believe it works(sounds good) for them.
R12 is a fantastic sub, ppl here think anything less than a SVS PB2000 is garbage but I've been really happy with this sub. I use it in my main very open living room and it puts out a huge amount of sound. Yes if you feed it something really low like 20Hz it'll distort compared to say a Klipsch 15inch sub (where I dont hear the sub but feel it in my chest) but those probably will never go on sale again (at $400 sale).
This Infinity set will keep 99% of ppl out there happy if they like the sound signature.

I actually use them as Atmos-ish speakers. mounted on the side walls all the way flush to the ceiling lined up/just in front of the main listening position to create a more wide overhead effect without ceiling speakers. I'm sure it's not perfect but sounds great to me and the price is unbeatable.
I have 2 xR263, RC263, 2x RS152, and 2x R162 (for rear surrounds, 2x R152 would be perfectly suitable as well. I just bought those first as my fronts at the time until the R263s were in stock)
Too bad the R12 is up to 200 after being 170 so often. I have a different brand sub, but for 340 it would be hard not to buy a pair.

If all you expect from a sub is a "huge amount of sound" at a low price, yes the R12 will fulfill that.
Keep in mind it's a 12" woofer with a 300 watt amp(600 peak) and rated down to 29Hz.
Most action movies regularly go much lower than 29Hz AND if you prefer to listen at higher levels, the R12 will suffer and distort in both cases.
I will point out the PB2000 will NOT distort either, like the "Klipsch 15inch sub"
Does that mean it's "garbage", no not at all, just keep in mind you get what you pay for with it.
The PB2000 is rated down to 17Hz, that is a huge difference to 29Hz. That's not the only thing you get for the price.
The 2000 gives you much more accuracy, detail, articulation with punch, in other words the "sound" will be better quality in all aspects.
This is true over the 15" Klipsch also, the Klipsch will give more of that "huge amount of sound" but it will just be more "loose"(less accurate).
So it depends what you are after in the "sound" you get from your sub but in general, better quality comes at a price.
There is a reason when SVS holds their sales, the PB2000 goes very quickly.
You always hear people say, when it comes to HT the two things you do not want to skimp on are the center and sub.
For most people the R12 would fall more under skimping, almost always people "upgrade" from it.
As you also sometimes hear.... pay once, cry once..... that might be a good way to look at it when getting a sub.

My googling skills are failing me and wary of just taking random postings as gospel, any websites that publish this info? I feel a lot of movies don't really exercise those low frequencies but obviously huge variety of quality content out there, some big budget movies can have terrible sound engineers.
I'm pretty sure for the ones that do, they might be able to answer that.
One thing I do know is your room environment and the volume level you're listening at plays a role there also.
Truth be told as much as "Hz" gets all the attention, IMO the bigger importance/benefit is the "quality of sound" a sub produces.
So even at 29Hz and above that SB2000 completely outperforms the R12 because the "quality" in all aspects is much better.
If those "benefits" are not a big priority, then you're not going to value it much.
We all prioritize things differently so that plays a big role on what's best for each of us.
This isn't "gospel" just my opinion from personal comparison and experience.
I'll be the 1st person to say this is completely subjective, there is no "gospel" that applies to everyone(99%)!
Any feedback appreciated. Also, any opinon on how much space they take up? I know they are taller, but do you feel like it's too much?
It will shake the windows, puts a smile on my face, and doesn't annoy the wife because it's not making the walls shake. Can't ask for much more for my needs however, if I was setting up a sound proofed room for movie viewing and I wanted to wow my friends with teeth hurting power, I'd shop elsewhere.

Hoping the double 263 towers and single r12 do shake the walls just a little... Ha
