Hoping the double 263 towers and single r12 do shake the walls just a little... Ha
Center - RC263
Front - R162
Side - R152
Rear - RS152
Sub - L12
Don't have much room so the HT chair is close to back wall. RS152 works better for rear due it's non direction omni design.. Have a lot of room on the sides to position the more directional R152.

Any feedback appreciated. Also, any opinon on how much space they take up? I know they are taller, but do you feel like it's too much?
As far a "space" here are the Dimensions: H-40 1/8", W-6 7/8", D-12 3/16"
As far as "too much", in sound that's all a personal decision based on many factors.
Too much in size again many factors but big ones are size of your layout/room and how far they are from your seating position.
I would point out you will need to get a receiver, run wires, etc which is more hassle than a soundbar. Whether it's worth it only you can answer that.
I would also point out as webdoctors correctly pointed out, this is all based on "IF they like the sound signature".
If you have never listened to them before, unfortunately none of this talk will answer that for you.
They great thing is Harmon offers free return shipping, that's not a fun task though.

Separately, thinking of a pair of R263, pair of RS152, and one R12, and center to come later. Would these be good/great for movies? Will be using for movies more than music.
*and like others have surely said they have better/ same specs as the bookshelfs for the most part but are better suited for surround. Only takes 2 screws to hang them.
Any advice/ guidance is appreciated.
I'd like to mention that I was hesitant about purchasing these towers because I want to pair them with the much-praised RC263, but it is currently OOS on Harman's site. Plus, most other sites list it as discontinued. I spoke with the chat support yesterday about future availability of the RC263. They escalated my question to a L2 Specialist who told me the RC263 is discontinued due to logistical issues..... But, that they would contact me when it comes back in stock.... So, I am still not sure if it will ever come back around or not. I decided to wait and see.
Upon saying that this is all subjective and there are people that do use them in those setups and believe it works(sounds good) for them.
Under carpet, under rugs, along the baseboards, under the baseboards, inside walls/ceilings, cable management systems, etc
Any advice/ guidance is appreciated.
What is wrong/issue with the QPS's that makes you want to replace them?

I'm pretty sure for the ones that do, they might be able to answer that.
One thing I do know is your room environment and the volume level you're listening at plays a role there also.
Truth be told as much as "Hz" gets all the attention, IMO the bigger importance/benefit is the "quality of sound" a sub produces.
So even at 29Hz and above that SB2000 completely outperforms the R12 because the "quality" in all aspects is much better.
If those "benefits" are not a big priority, then you're not going to value it much.
We all prioritize things differently so that plays a big role on what's best for each of us.
This isn't "gospel" just my opinion from personal comparison and experience.
I'll be the 1st person to say this is completely subjective, there is no "gospel" that applies to everyone(99%)!
- Romance / Comedy - barely any
- Fantasy - Depends on sound engineer (likely)
- Action Adventure - Bank on it
- Sci-Fi - Highly likely
- Western - Usually not
- Documentary - Very unlikely
- Horror - Yes (they are aiming for the mythical brown note)
If you want to "feel" that low rumble (a-la Horror/Sci-Fi/Action adventure), consider installing some "Bass Shakers [parts-express.com]".Leave a Comment
