What's the difference between the two? I read one of the car forums recommended the Noco Genius 5. If this one is better than I would buy it.

This or the Genius 2? Will only use for batteries for up to Medium SUV and will only serves as charger in case of emergency.

I would think for emergency, your battery would be dead, and a 30 amp charger will get you going in 1/6 the time. These smaller Noco units are great for non-emergency overnight charging and especially, maintaining batteries for longer life.

Per the NOCO website the OP's product also does Deep Cycle batteries - https://no.co/genius5

I think the difference between the two is that the OP's includes the battery clamps, vs your link is for direct-attached instead with a harness.

Thanks, found a higher amp one (10amp) with a clamp. Looks like 2019 model but does 6v also and pulled the trigger.

I was debating on this one (10amp), but doesn't have a clamp, they claim deep cycle/marine, no clamp, and 2020 model.
