Actually don't do any of this, are you serious? It's not a repellant and will not be effective used this way. The collar needs to be worn by the pet full time as their hair oils carry the active ingredient to their skin for absorption. You should take it off the pet for bathing/swimming only.

Also it's definitely not for human use and has not been tested for such, and it is recommended to handle it with gloves or wash after since it's safety for humans is unknown.

In pets, everyone should do what they are comfortable with. There have been over 25 million of the collars sold and the last article I saw said 1700 pet deaths potentially related though they noted "related" meant things like a 12 year old beagle getting bladder cancer and dying from that after having worn the collar for years. If you decide to use it, just watch your pet and remove it should they show adverse effects.

There's a class action lawsuit going on right now with this product saying it killed over a thousand of pets and injured people as well. You might want to do some research before purchasing.

Good deal. Amazon also has the cat collars for $27. But only the dog under 18 lbs collars are $28.50.

I need two for 65 lb dogs, so I'll get them from Chewy. Thanks for posting!

Be careful on ordering too far in advance. They don't have an expiration date but definitely DO have a shelf life.

Watch it. I ordered from chewy and it appears I received fakes. It cost me hundreds in chemicals to eliminate the fleas. That's doing it myself at that. I was told to stick with what your vet gives you. Not to even trust PetSmart of all places.

Seresto large dog collars on Amazon is 28.50 or 27.08 using S&S.

I buy the large and cut it in half for my small dog.

From doing a quick search before my purchase it said there is no official shelf life because if you store them unopened they have been tested to still be good after 5 years or something. I'm not worried about it

The dogs over 18 lbs was on sale too! Thank you so much! I almost purchased 2 for $107 now I got 2 for $30 with the autoship enabled.

After years of it working to suddenly overwhelmed with fleas. I found multiple references that fakes are extremely prominent even at big box stores. I don't know if there a tell on the packaging. Just that the only best way to be sure is thru your vet. But the proof was the fact I had a house full of fleas.
