Sounds like bullshit. May have to return it then. The app won't even run in the background while we sleep just for audio purposes?

Yes. The software gives a pretty good overview of sleeping for babies.
The multi mount stand does not allow for insights to give you the history or moments for the night.
It has to be attached to the wall or floor stand for some reason.
Just a tip, if your baby is going to sleep in your room (bassinet) for a few months, don't register this thing until you're ready to ship him/her off to their own room. No point in wasting part of the 1-year trial if you're not actively using the camera.
Not sure if we'll continue to pay for the services after a year, but it does offer a background noise function which i don't believe is part of the paid plan. You can listen to it without having the app as your active app. This is Android, btw
