This is for new member only, and you get the $45 at the cs desk at time of activation. Take a screenshot or printout of activation code and gc code.

New member = not a member within last 6 months. A way to bypass this is alternate between yourself and significant other/family member as primary and use a different email.

anyway, can we still use our expired account email for new sams sign up? i am talking about 3 years expired. will they still honor it? in the old days, i had to call in to request them for the old account removal before i could use my email again for the new customer signup.

I havent had a membership in over a year. I signed into my account and tried the link and it just lands at the home page. I signed out and signed up via link with same email and password and it went through to the payment page. I think its possible to still use your older account. I will pay and see what I happens. I have a $10 off for Sams on my Chase Freedom card.

Timing is everything: An SD'r posted an upcoming deal on a pair of Oral-B electric toothbrushes, signed up/got GC in-store(using valpak flyer), waited for sale, and used $45 gift card to buy it online(final cost was around $15FS). Will probably just drop in for their non-fat greek yogurt(better price than CC with slightly less quality) occasionally unless another deal hits...
