Shape is more important. The 305 is a small mouse, not everyone fits it well.
Amazing mouse when it works. I just cant deal with scroll lag/weirdness since I use it for development as well. Recent forums I've read still say the scroll issues persists but YMMV.
except for Apple's magic mouse, but i rarely use that.
Pros:
- shape (my favorite shape of all time. Some people might not like the hump and it's right handed only)
- wireless
- cost
- dpi change on top (some mice have it under, like the g pro wireless)
Cons:
- QC issues (double click issue is rampant on these mice, and Logitech hasn't ever attempted to fix it, even when they swapped sensors)
- I've had 2 of these and the scroll wheel had broke on both
- battery life is mediocre
- weight, although I think people care too much about this
ps. I saw a comment stating that double click issues are common with all brands and mice, but that simply isn't true. I have 3 mice other than my broken g703's and not one of them has ever had a double click issue. Both of my g703's have had double click issues. If you check out amazon reviews for the g703, all you'll see are comments about this issue. Now take a look at any other mouse and you won't see it like the g703 comments
