I love the shape of this mouse and how good the wireless is, but Logitech really need to lower its weight and add more reliable mouse buttons that dont double click after 2 years.
For those interested, it's cheaper ($54) on Bestbuy. You have to sign up for a Best Buy member account, but that's free. Otherwise it's $60, which is the same price on Amazon if you DON'T have Prime.

I've been loyal to the 602 for almost 8 years... I put thousands of hours of heavy use via my ogre-like hand. I only have one arm, and lived bed bound for 7 years waiting to die, and it lasted me through those rough years until finding effective treatment... Basically this mouse and I have been to hell and back, but unlike myself,, it still functions at 100%.

So...

How is this 703?

703 is just a lighter weight version of the 403 with a better sensor.

Hmm.. With the G305 for $28.50, it doesn't seem like this thing is worth twice the price. 35 vs 250 hours of battery life is crazy

Shape is more important. The 305 is a small mouse, not everyone fits it well.

Awesome mouse. When it works. I've had 3 of these. Two I bought and one had a scroll wheel problem so Logitech sent me another one and that one bad a scrollwheel issue as well! The second one I had from the start, I decided to sell in case the scroll wheel issue happened with it.

Amazing mouse when it works. I just cant deal with scroll lag/weirdness since I use it for development as well. Recent forums I've read still say the scroll issues persists but YMMV.

i think all brands suffer from the double click issue. i've had mice from glorious, corsair, and razer. all encounter some double click issue after X months.

except for Apple's magic mouse, but i rarely use that.

lots to love and hate about this mouse.

Pros:
- shape (my favorite shape of all time. Some people might not like the hump and it's right handed only)
- wireless
- cost
- dpi change on top (some mice have it under, like the g pro wireless)

Cons:
- QC issues (double click issue is rampant on these mice, and Logitech hasn't ever attempted to fix it, even when they swapped sensors)
- I've had 2 of these and the scroll wheel had broke on both
- battery life is mediocre
- weight, although I think people care too much about this

ps. I saw a comment stating that double click issues are common with all brands and mice, but that simply isn't true. I have 3 mice other than my broken g703's and not one of them has ever had a double click issue. Both of my g703's have had double click issues. If you check out amazon reviews for the g703, all you'll see are comments about this issue. Now take a look at any other mouse and you won't see it like the g703 comments

Most brands have cheaped out and use cheaper switches. I've desoldered and soldered a couple of replacement switches, then I came across Asus ROG mice that have an easy push-to-fit swappable switches. Takes less than 5 minutes to change out a switch to fix the double click issue.
