These have an SD slot so not as bad as the current generation with storage.

Thank you but Whatsapp stores everything internally. I have like 10 years of Whatsapp stuff.

No problem. Don't want to tell you how to live your life, but unless there is some compelling reason for you to keep all this stuff, I'd highly suggest considering just making a backup of it and then starting over fresh.

You can always restore it and get it back if you need it. Otherwise, in a few more years, 1tb may not be enough for you. If you have anything sentimental, you can always restore your backup.

I used to do something similar with iMessages and photos on my iPhone and since I toggled a setting to delete everything older than a year, it's been so much better to not have to worry about storage all the time.

Still have my old backups if I never need anything but I've never looked at them even once in the few years since I stopped collecting my old stuff.
