If you're a Costco member, this bundle is $59.99 with free shipping (+ tax).

Standalone MSRP is $104.99. Today, most stores are offering just the 80" base or just the 40" extension on sale. Amazon's best pricing is only the 80" for $59.99, while Costco is offering 80" + 40" for $59.99!

This deal matches the all-time low and is slightly better than the most recent deals.

You do NOT need a hub: it can work with just Bluetooth. But, it has the most features / integrations if you have the Hue Bridge. Product pages for more details:

Aside from the Hue functionality, if the light malfunctions and burns down your house, Philips can be sued. Xiaping Trading Co, not so easy. And its a safe bet that Philips has better QC manufacturing checks than Xiaping Trading
Great price. I wait for the right price/time to buy hue products. This is on of those Smilie
Great deal, best buy has the same but for 79.99

Has anyone found a successful LED diffuser for these so they don't reflect the "spots" on a countertop for example?

The website says $59.99, but it shows up as $84.99 in the cart. I went through the checkout process and got the confirmation email, they did indeed charge me $84.99. Cancelled the order. Double-check the price you're getting!
I just ordered 2 and got charged the correct amount of $119.98... checked my bank and the correct charge shows as pending.

Did you order more than the 2 limit item? If so, that's the reason for getting charged the regular price on all items.

why do people get these instead of the $20 for 50 ft strips on amazon? is it because these are just easier to install and/or have smart features built right in??

why not just read the instructions for setup and plug the cheap strips into aa $8 smart plug?

Take note of the limit.

Also, my order checked out at $84.99 per item even though it showed the $59.99 price in the cart. Is that right?

It shows $25 discount as a line item so as long as you have not paid net more than $70 you got the deal

On Costco's site it says 6 ft base and 3 ft extension. Not sure where the posted numbers in inches came from.

Probably the integration with the Hue App. If you're already in the ecosystem, why deviate from that?

Maybe Amazon will price match this. I don't have a Costco membership. I am looking for some lights to put under our kitchen cabinets and am already in the Hue ecosystem.
