I recently purchased this chair, and after using it for a week, I ended up returning it. While it has adjustments galore and is built like a tank (and weighs about the same), it just ended up not being all that comfortable. I'm working from home, so I was sitting on it for 9 hours a day. I didn't find it any more comfortable than my 10 year old Office Max chair it was supposed to replace, so there was no way I could justify the expense.

Have you tried a Leap too?

Good chair but as someone who tries this aeron v2 and mirra I will say this. If your tail bone hurts from sitting to long you might be better of with a mesh chair like aeron since easier on that part. Also Steelcase cushions as a bit thinner than expected. If aeron is out of your budget look into the workpro quantum 9000 with or with out head rest. Imo closest any mesh chair got to aeron at 1/3 price on sale and 10 year warranty

Bought this a week ago and am returning it. I prefer the Aeron so much more to this.

Issues:
1) In warm weather this chair doesn't breathe at all. Expect to sweat from the back and legs;

2) The seat back's adjustments are odd. You can set it to stop reclining at 4 positions: A) aggressively upgright; B) a bit too casual; C) almost laying down; D) laying down. So if you want to just slightly recline your only option is to put in position B and then crank up the tension so that it balances you perfectly between A and B which is incredibly finicky.

3) The seat padding is very firm to the point that I was in a bit of pain after sitting on it for a week.

Check around OfferUp or Craigslist. There are folks who buy from offices and refurb them. I got a brand new Leap V2 for $250 today.

Edit:
Okay, not brand new. It was as good as new. Found near a coastal city in California.

Whenever I see posts like this it's always someone to lives in a major coastal city. Out here in Colorado these deals are impossible to find.
