No, if you're not going to use the on-board non-wireless processing power, I can't see any benefits (except if it's cheaper on the oculus store than elsewhere). And buying it on steam or other platforms means you can transition to a different non-oculus headset in the future without losing games.

Some games that are very precise do benefit from being run from the headset, though. Like I'm worse at eleven table tennis playing it through wireless because the extra 30-50ms affects how you hit the balls, but most games it doesn't matter.

according to oculus the saints and sinners game sale ends in 4 hours from now, so if that's the one you want you may not want to wait just in case.

I just purchased the 64gb model and plan to play almost entirely via Airlink. All of my other non VR games are on Steam. Are there any other benefits to buying through Oculus if I don't plan on having them stored on the headset?
