The CPU is plenty fast but the iGPU is horribly slow nowadays. If you don't intend to game it'll work just fine.Also it only supports HDMI 1.4b, so you won't be able to connect a 4K display at 60Hz, 24Hz - is what it's capable of.

I just received a "new" laptop from the military at work, and it has an 8th gen Intel chip. At least the government is finally starting to use SSDs. With all the added bloatware that the government puts on there, it takes forever to boot.
