Separate note: can anyone speak for the longevity of this mouse? I've owned at least 4 razer mice (more budget friendly ones) and they've all developed double click issues. If this one doesn't have that issue, then seems like a pretty great deal

This has optical switches that do not double-click, so you should be good in that regard.

I owned this mouse a little over a year ago. It developed double clicking within 3 months. It was also my 4th razer mouse - never again.

So many. Model D. ROG Keris. Origin Pro. Too many to list.

I've had it for about a year, still works great for me.

Thanks for the input. I've read that the optical switches were supposed to prevent that issue but i guess that's not necessarily the case. With my luck it'll prob happen to me as well.

The only long term mouse I've owned reliably is the MX master (3+years and still going). I'd be more willing to pay more for quality/longevity but have yet to find one for gaming.

Honestly at this point, I'm just looking for something that'll last. Don't care if it's shaped like my balls.

I have had the wired version for about a year and a half now and love it. It's my third Razer mouse in 22 years. I've heard that their QC has had issues over the years, but I've gone through one Corsair and two Logitech mice in less than half amount of time for work.

Have owned for a year and used for work and gaming. Not a single issue so far and no red flags in terms of wear.

Only thing to note is sometimes it helps to clean the charging contacts on the base for a better connection. (Q-tip and alcohol does wonders)

thank you for your inputs. my basilisk x hyperspeed lasted a little over a year and then developed double clicking issues. i've had wired deathadders that lasted anywhere between 6mo-1yr. i guess i'm looking for something that'll last longer than that, especially at a premium price point. getting tired of giving razer my money.

It appears that this "members pricing" special is either only 1 per order or 1 per account. For example, if you add 2 vipers to your cart, you will note that the first is $76 but the second is $85.

Has anyone who has purchased the Viper (or any other item with "members pricing") gone back in to see if they can get another item with that extra discount? Any info appreciated.

BTW, I love my Viper. It's become my go-to lightweight mouse for Overwatch after going through the g903, g305, and G Pro Wireless.

Happy Gaming!
