This doesn't have wireless charging, but the FE does.

They both have 5G, but the S20 FE has Sub-6 support allowing better coverage by being able to use 6G networks (not at 6G speeds).

Either way you look at it... you sacrifice a lot for not wanting to pony up $100 more.

For less money, the Oneplus 8 deal is better overall.

According to the spec pages at Samsung.com, both the A71 5G and the S20 FE 5G have Sub-6. So that is not a valid ding against the A71.

Wireless charging...that may or may not be important to the user. Most people plug in.

I have the A71, and the performance difference between a SD765 and SD865? I don't game on it, and everything else looks absolutely beautiful (better than my iPhone 11 Pro Max) and is super fast.

In any case, you can't use a question as a basis for a decision. Bad fallacious argument there. So stop presenting 120hz as, "do you have to dial back the resolution" to generate doubt. It doesn't. They both have the same resolution. Its a better screen to use, sorry.

Looks like specds have indeed matured and both offer mmWave as well, so thanks for pointing that out. (Though suspiciously you research that spec, but can't tell if 120hz is generated through lower resolution)

If people want to be cheap and not pretend it exists, thats their prerogative, but it is super convenient, and doesn't wear down your charge port. You win no points trying to convince people wireless charging isn't a good feature.

As for speed. That's great you find the A71 speedy. It relatively is. The S20 FE though is still faster in every metric...usually by a lot.. Just because your car goes 0-60 in 5 seconds doesnt mean you can honestly pretend 0-60 in 4 isn't a big difference.

I mean even the ram is going from 4 series to stepping up to 5 series chips in the FE.

Again... all this for a measly $100 and change.

I never said the A71 sucks, merely the S20 FE is better. You should garner the same amount of respects for facts and admit you got a shittier phone for cheaper, which is A-OK.

A 71 has a headphone jack and SD slot. I'd trade for that over the other pseudo premium features. These are real premium features. =)

edit: screen fingerprint sensor is a lie too. give me side button fingerprint scanner any day.
