My costco (knoxville, tn) has it on clearance for around $80. Forgot the exact price. $78 or $87.

Pretty great value for someone just getting in to PC gaming. Even with current individual sale prices you are saving over $100 (from if you were to buy this all separately).

What's the cheapest you can get the Costco Gold membership? I would hate to pay full price for the membership and find out you can get it for half off or something by some well known way that I don't know about. This allows you to get $20 off but I don't need this. It's about time I get a membership though.

There are no 'deals' when it comes to Costco memberships. With that said, if you shop enough at Costco you can effectively get the membership for free. If you sign up with their Executive membership for $120/year you get 2% cash back on items you buy at Costco. If you spend at least $6000 in a year at Costco you will get back the $120 you spent on the membership.

Groupon has had a deal pop up a few times last year where you get a $40 shop card and $40 off an online purchase of $250 or more when you sign up for the gold membership:

Their current deal isn't nearly as good, get a $10 shop card when you sign up for a $60 Gold membership or a $20 shop card when you sign up for a $120 Executive membership:

One way around that membership is if you have somebody buy you bulk costco gift card and you use it instead of membership. However for me Costco membership pays for itself or i am addicted to it so justify it. i get cashback since we do major purchases there so it pays for itself.
