El Royale was underrated. I really enjoyed that one.
Got HEAT. I walked away from that $5 in 30 seconds flat.

Socialbaby What are you taking about it's movie anywhere so it's on every site they can't take from everywhere.

What happens if Movies Anywhere goes bankrupt? Seems like it's not lawful to lose something digital like that, and yet the other day, all my photos on Google Drive were deleted because i didn't get an email saying items will be removed for inactivity

YMMV, but i think my account was credited $10 in prime video credit in addition to the prime day $10 credit for reloading my gift card balance. when i went to purchase through amazon it only allowed me to use $1 in no rush fee credit and deducted the rest from my gift card balance. i chatted with a rep and they 'unstuck' the credit so i was able to pick up 2 free UHD (MA) movies.

you can check your prime video credit balance by clicking the Redeem a gift card or promotion code link below the rent/purchase buttons

Alien: Director's Cut is on sale as well: https://www.vudu.com/content/movi...ut-/180890

Which one to go? Theatrical or Director's Cut? Or both?
Also, if you buy on iTunes (not on sale), it comes with both versions. Now, here's the question: since these are MA, shouldn't buying the Theatrical Version on Amazon or Vudu and redeeming in MA give you the iTunes copies as well?

Digital is always going to have the danger of being lost (since there is no ownership of a physical copy), and every company faces the possibility of bankruptcy. However, I believe MoviesAnywhere is owned by Disney, so its chances of going under are slimmer than most. More likely, Disney will decide MoviesAnywhere isn't as profitable as the next model (their pitch, probably will be: why buy a license to a digital movie @ $15 when you can lease one for a few years for much cheaper @ $1-2?). After Disney gets enough people to give up owning for long-term rental (which is essentially just a repackaging of MA anyway), they'll scrap the offering owning all together.

Yes, if you buy the Theatrical Cut on Amazon or Vudu you will be able to stream the Director's Cut as an Extra on Both iTunes and Movies Anywhere. Hope this helps.

The part about Amazon using your available gift card balance before no-rush credit has happened to me. It's pretty madding when you have no-rush credits set to expire. When i cancel my video order, I got my gift card balance back, but lost the no-rush credit. I haven't been lucky in finding a Amazon rep that understands this. Make sure you check your digital invoice for the order, as there has been some weird calculations on Amazon's part.

Thanks for confirming. In this case, I don't care for the Director's Cut, but there are DCs I am interested in should they be included in the extras for other movies.

Directors Cut is only in HDX

The Re-mastered -Theatrical Cut is in 4K UHD

This series goes on sale for 5.00 quite a bit all versions so...buy now and grab them all sooner or later. I personally like the Theatrical Cut because that's how I enjoyed and remember the movie originally when I was a kid.

FYI, the Amazon version of Alien (theatrical) 4k is also $5, and also Movies Anywhere compatible.

Good luck they want you to buy digital lease aka rent and you agree they can take away any reasons. vudu took over 10 seasons tv from me and over 80 movies since they started support is trash thats when i learned i have 0 digital protection... Also streaming is never atmos its compressed above average but not atmos greatness... They pushing to go full digital future some companies trying harder then others. So many lose content but keep buying...
