i got mine last year pre-pandemic for 900ish and still worth every penny
the colors, brightness, and curve, this is one amazing monitor
anyone that spends more than a few hours on a computer should invest in this
I initially ordered this monitor, but canceled my order. I am happy with my Acer 27" XB271HU monitor right now, but probably looking to upgrade to something more drastic like a 48" OLED
I may order this but I think I'd rather go bigger with a 38". Maybe the aw3821dw will go on sale Thanksgiving or labor day.

The MSI MAG341CQ was open box from amazon warehouse but only $250 out the door (don't ask... deal is gone).
For reference, I sold my previous gen 34' alienware aw3418dw for $600 cash before I moved in early June. It was absolutely fantastic and I really regretted getting rid of it after the fact. Crazy to get a new one for that here.

Edit: Had to call them and they saiid my customer ID was flagged for some reason so they had to recreate the order and cancel the original. Since the deal is no longer active, I will be losing out on the 10% cash back, which is frustrating. Never had a problem ordering with them before. Maybe the saw the cashback and it was "too low"? The CS person did say that I got a "heck of a discount" at 64% off msrp and that it was a "very good deal". So who knows, but just an FYI that if yours hasn't shipped yet, check your order status, then click the purchase ID at the top. If you see an error message, you'll have to call them to replace the order minus the 10% cash back.
