Maybe not the best z590 in the world, but I don't think you'll find anything else for that price that will beat it (and it should be plenty for this i5). Less than $300 for an unlocked chip on a z590 board? Not too bad.
Add the $35 cooler master nr400 case from Amazon and you're well on your way to a pretty unbeatable value system. Of course if you're okay with the secondary market there are also plenty of pre-builts around that people have had the GPUs pulled out. That's still the way I'd go if I needed a full system right now.

Not a bad option, but that included gigabyte board seems to have some worrying flaws. And to revive an old complaint: no HDMI
Im not sure why so many people need HDMI, modern monitors above bargain bin are display port or both, and this HDMI out is only for the IGP, most people should be getting a dGPU which will support both. Also you can buy cables or dongles to convert DP to HDMI for cheap, we're talking $5-$10 for a 6ft cable.
As for the reviews, I dont own the board in question, but I used to be a computer tech and this is my hobby and the 1 star reviews really seem like user error. I dont care either way I just dont think its a fair assessment of the board based on a handful of reviews, and the negative ones are really questionable. Worst case scenario is you return it as defective and buy another board.

This bundle z590+10600ka is the far better deal, and I would jump on it if I didnt already have a system built.
