For those worried about the cord: If you don't have at least one unused outlet on each of the sides of your house, don't get a corded mower. if you're considering getting a riding mower don't get a corded mower. If you have more than a 1/4 (maybe 1/2) of an acre don't get a corded mower. For most people who are physically able to mow their yard adding a cord in exchange for a lighter lawn mower is a piece of cake to handle. Just make sure you get a brightly colored extension cord (I managed to snag a 100' coleman 12/3 "Hi-Visibility Low-Temperature" cord for $33 "used like new" 4 years ago, works great for corded electric snow throwers too...)
It should be noted that being in Oregon I smoke a good amount of our state legal intoxicating flower while mowing the yard and occasionally add an adult beverage. I've never run over and damaged an extension cord with the mower set on fairly low deck height. I can not say the same with the snow thrower, hence brightly colored low temp cord I now use all year. Good deal, TU.

Get a battery powered one instead. You won't regret it. Worth every penny.
I realized that it wasn't battery powered after I ordered it. Cancelled lol
Been using it for 5 years now and so far no issues at all
You get used to having a cord and sometimes i forget it is corded.
Super recommended

Managing those extension cords is a huge pain.
