Guessing here but maybe you buy the ps5 disc version so you can install the Ps5 version of the game on a ps5, from the disc. If you buy the ps4 version then you will have to download the current gen files from the internet.

Because there is a PS5 variant and if you by ps4 version you can download and play PS5 version upgrade free when and if you get a PS5. You have to leave the PS4 disc in the machine to do this. There are a number of PS4/PS5 games that do this.

I think you are confusing backward compatibility where a PS4 game will play as a PS4 game in PS5.

PS4 games on PS5 games have 3 flavors basically.

PS4 games that play exact as original PS4 games.

PS4 games that play as PS4 games, but enhanced such as unlocked frame rates.

PS4 games that have a true PS5 version that can be upgraded to play as PS5 games from a PS4 disc.

Suppose so but Xbox has decidedly only offered one disc so I believe that means your prior Gen console would need to download the prior gen files from the internet

They finally fixed it in an update a few months back, but when you used to put a PS4 version in a PS5, it would automatically start to download the PS4 version, even if you already had the PS5 version downloaded. For that reason, I've stuck with PS5 versions ever since. The only practical reason to have both PS5/PS4 versions coexisting now tho would be to install the PS5 version off disc as opposed to downloading it every time

Played the demo and I thought it was pretty fun. However, it's a Bandai namco game and will be cheaper during the holidays.

Google "PS5 enhanced games" and Google specific titles you are interested in. The info is not reported consistently and some results may reflect just better frame rate and others dedicated PS5 versions.

I played the demo and didn't like it. The monsters design is not to my liking. If you haven't seen anything about this game, most monsters look like bouquets of roses with legs.
It's almost like it's trying to make a statement about marriage.

Gameplay-wise, the "superpowers" are qm interesting feature, but it takes a little getting used to for it to start being fun.
