Pro tip Best Buy does that on almost all their products, they list a "was" price to trick people. One can find various brands of 1TB drives at the $40 to $45 price range. For example, right now Amazon has the WD 1TB Elements portable drive [amazon.com] for $40.

One can get a better per TB price the higher capacity one goes with Easystores when they're on sale at Best Buy. With the 5TB price often being in the $18 to $20 per TB range ($90 to $100) when on sale.
