okay, want a cookie? lol nobody asked what you did, clearly stated what it was for, not a permanent thing yet you had to try to make it about yourself. It's $20, obvs it's not going to be a replacement for a $500+ microphone lmao do your thing tho, just no need to be so extra about a comment.

I recommend buying a good mic, like the fifine k678, at2020, shure sm7b and a good mic arm like the samson or rode

I got a similar microphone/mount combo but XLR for just $18 and have it paired with my Roland VT-4 and it sounds balanced on both ends and smooth.

Getting a condenser microphone with a mid-tier interface is far more important than just buying an expensive microphone. I would say this setup would be good enough for all but high-end professional work.

This TONOR XLR mic setup was just $18 with code back in september.
Damn, was there a slickdeals page for that? I paid $36 for it. Had a chance to compare it to a couple of loaner mics, ultimately decided $36 was a fair price given it was a complete kit. $18 would of been a legit slickdeal if it came with the newer version of the arm.

Great budget / starting mic set for the price. People often compliment the clarity of my voice with it.

Much better than laptop/webcam mics.

I'm guessing the microphone is not great. A lot of times, they make these look like a traditional large diaphragm condenser mic, but it's just a tiny dynamic mic inside the nice shell.

On the other hand, $22 is not a bad price for the desk mounted scissor arm stand and pop filter.

I'd suggest going with a USB Blue or Samson mic. Behringer probably has something good. Under $50 or better with a good sale.

Here's an example
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B001R...A1QJD09BKD [amazon.com]
Just bought a scissor arm (no pop filter) for 4 bucks after coupon most of the scissors coming out of china are the same build and design, for a scissor stand screw converter and pop one should not pay more than 11-13 bucks imo (one of the most valuable pieces in these kits are the 3/8" Male to 5/8" Female Mic Screw Adapter imo those are hard to find under 3 bucks not every kit comes with one)
However you simply wont find a better mic at this price i have tested quite a few (granted nowhere close to padcastage review guy lol) and for a plug and play option this is as good as its going to get for 20 ish and quite frankly holds its own against $50-60 tier imo fifine snowball samson meteor (however the quality part of comparison i expect will yield different results, how long this will last in contrast to a meteor)

This bundle is a no brainer for someone who either needs a backup or starting a YT or Twitch from scratch on a budget, the mic comes out to be about $9 when factoring in average price for mount kit. Longevity is likely achilles heel buzzing and or humming after several months of use

I was in the market around this range or so, and knowing so little about microphones I did myself a favor and listened to comments here. I instead went with the Yeti Nano and though about double this price, and which to me and my needs sounds amazing, it was in my head what I thought I'd get out of something like this cheaper mic.

I know these anecdotes aren't super reliable and everyone's needs are different but just my thought.

Great deal just realize condenser mics (especially cheap ones) will pick up a lot of background noise.

I'm a teacher and I bought a cheap mic like this for virtual learning thinking it'd be better than the mic on my webcam or laptop. I was wrong. I gave it away to a student.

Good deal if you're a budding 12-year old rapper, have a Twitch channel with less than 20 subs, or you need to talk to your Diablo II buddies about Chaos runs.
haha yup but honestly i bought a similar kit from amazon however the mic was xlr as i have an audio interface. the quality for what you get is actually surprisingly good. Online game chatting not an issue and the mic arm still holds up after a year or so of use.
Much better than any headset mic i tried and ironically similarly priced lol

Do you have any recommendations for a budget transformer? I'm not sure if I would need something that sophisticated. I also have a Rode Mic for my Sony Mirrorless Camera, would that suffice with an interface?

I've got this mic. It's fine. Is it as good as my MXL going through my interface? Not at all. Is it better than my laptops built in mic? 1000% yes. If you want something to sound decent on streams, this will be a generous upgrade to any built in mic.
Oooooo...good but not as good as your MXL 🤣🤣🤣

I just bought this deal after watch a few reviews on YouTube showing the difference in sound quality. For $22 bucks I will no longer sound like an android in teams meetings. I just hope I can position it in a way that it is close enough to me to not sound too quiet but not in sight of my webcam.
