Every commuter I've gotten family members have broken. Have gotten an 8, 8 plus, 11, and a 12. Warranty is alright, but you have to pay shipping. Get a otterbox defender or head elsewhere.

Every commuter I've gotten family members have broken. Have gotten an 8, 8 plus, 11, and a 12. Warranty is alright, but you have to pay shipping. Get a otterbox defender or head elsewhere.

Have it in black, and I love it. Use this regularly over the official leather case because it feels so good in the hand. Gives you a solid grip.

Official leather case kinda sucks, tbh.

I've been using the leather case since the iPhone 12 came out and wouldn't recommend it. Doesn't hold up well and is pretty slippery even for leather.

That sucks to hear as I really like the blue color and for once actually want to kinda show the phone off instead of hiding it behind a black case.

It sounds like the main problem is the phone user if you've had that many break as the Commuter is a very durable case and more than enough case for the average user.

Ordered one but returned it the same day I got it. The right side of the case near power button with mostly soft rubbery material is flimsy. I wished they had more solid plastic to protect the phone from all sides.
