This TV is awesome for gaming, just doesn't have hdmi 2.1 so you can only do a max of 4k @60fps or 1080p @120 fps.

The are both excellent for general use especially if you can prevent direct light hitting the panel in the day, Sony takes the edge in processing and upscaling (especially the new XR chips in the A80J ect) and LG takes price and gaming category.

Pretty sure all Oled panels are produced by LG. Qled by Samsung. The other brands have to use their own processors.
